Are you looking for a scenic and exciting cycling trip along the Mekong Delta? This trip will take you through some of the most impressive parts of the region. It also includes two nights in luxury hotels in the area. We combine the perfect mixture of adventure and culinary exploration. You'll travel through beautiful orchards, waterside canals, and a range of other scenic spots. Our team will take you on ferries throughout certain parts of the journey - we'll gain access to authentic local towns and villages to help you get a true picture of the Mekong Delta and traditional Vietnamese living. Saigon - Cai Lay - Cycle around 30 km
At 8:00 meet you up at hotel ,transfer 2 hours to Cai Lay , starting to ride on a beautiful back roads ,through amazing fruit orchards (Durian), stopping to try some fresh Durian , one of the specialty of the region . You will be welcomed by locals with big smiles , people have not seen Westerner , specially , with your funny cycling gears..
The ride will break into may parts, Ngu Hiep island-famous for Durian, unspoiled area, with many small house and very hospitality locals.
Tan Phong island- famous for Rambutan, beautiful with many orchards and concreted paths…
Finish the morning ride at a garden of Mr 6 Ca for lunch, this is a beautiful orchard, the chap will serve you his home made wine, elephant fish, spring rolls and many fruits..

Cai Be - Can Tho - Cycle around: 30 - 40 Km
Early Vietnamese coffee and breakfast will be served ,so that, you will enjoy the truly Vietnam. Your cycling today will be along rivers, watching local people’ activities , fishing, picking fruits , Vietnamese students going to school with traditional dress Ao Dai..
Passing a beautiful paddy field, don’t forget to take a photo ! stopping at a Khmer temple at, crossing a small ferry, have a tea Mr Ginger…
Our special tour will bring you to the heart of the Mekong and stop at some of the locals home to people life, feeling, their customs.. This can be done only with Le Vietnam Travel.

Can Tho - Saigon - Cycle around: 25 - 30 km
Another early day for you ,but it is really worthy, because you will see the most beautiful floating ,market -Cai Rang, people trading from boat to boat,varieties fruits and vegetables around the Mekong will be seen here.
After visiting the floating market, follow your guide to meet 'snake man' on your bicycle, he is a very nice chap, friendly hospitality, a typical Mekong delta people character' , some fruits will be tasted, snake wine will be served..
Cycling through many gardens before finish your ride in Vinh Kim, have lunch at a local house, meet your car and transfer back to Saigon or transfer to Can Tho Airport, lunch on route.

TRIP PROFILE
This trip covers a little over 100 km on well surfaced roads. The daily distance are not too long and the terrain is gentle and ‘flat’ so this trip suitable for most people, but it’s advisable to have a modicum of fitness to enjoy the riding! Fast cyclist can ride at their own pace, as detailed directions are available from the tour leader. Our route is designed to take us off the main roads as much as possible and there is even the option to try some off road tracks. We explore scenic back roads on the way to all our destinations.
ITINERARY
Day 1: transfer out of Saigon to Cai Lay and ride back roads to Cai Be,having lunch in a orchard, take a boat cross the Mekong river and ride 10km to the homestay.
Day 2: ride 10km stop at a temple, transfer 20munutes out of town and ride the rest of the day to Can Tho
Day 3: take a boat in the morning to visit the most beautiful floating market, visit rice noodle factory, snake man, transfer 1 hour, then ride 20km to Vinh Kim, have lunch with a local, then transfer back to Saigon.
