Using a cleverly disguised trapdoor beneath a bed, the fighters concealed rifles, grenades, and other munitions in an underground bunker beneath the floorboards. Their mission: to launch a surprise attack on the U.S. Embassy and key locations across Saigon.

In 1988, the Vietnamese government officially recognized this location as a historical site. Today, it’s preserved almost exactly as it was during wartime.
