From here, you can take an exposed trail (with no cover) that winds across the hillsides and eventually leads you to Baker’s Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sri Lanka. At 20 meters high, the falls create a stunning sight, especially after rainfall when the water is at its fullest. The extended circuit adds approximately 1 kilometer to your journey, but it’s well worth it for the sight of this majestic waterfall.

After visiting Baker’s Falls, you can take a different, open route back to the entrance gate. This return journey typically takes around 45 minutes. For those choosing to walk only to World’s End and back, the total hike is about 8 kilometers (5 miles). However, if you decide to take the full circuit, which includes the extended walk to Baker’s Falls, the total distance is around 9 kilometers (5.6 miles).
