What to see

Singapore’s National Parks Board describes the route through Mount Faber, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and the Labrador area. It offers a green counterpoint to the city center, but the full route is longer and more demanding than a short urban stroll.

How to plan a visit

NParks rates the route moderate to challenging and estimates three to five hours for the 10-kilometre walk. Check for closures, bring water and sun protection, wear shoes with grip and do not feed or approach wildlife. Plan transport at both ends of the route.

How it fits a private itinerary

Set aside half a day for the full walk, or choose a shorter section that suits your fitness and weather. HortPark and the viewpoints can be combined with nearby southern neighborhoods.
