Itinerary idea in detail

This tour can be conducted by motorcycle or by car. Please contact us for more details.

Day 1
Arrive Kuala Lumpur, transfer to Malacca

On arrival in Malaysia, you'll be met by your private guide in Kuala Lumpur, who will drive you to your hotel in Malacca.
Day 2
Peranakan cookery class

Peranakan (or Straits-born Chinese) culture has its own unique cuisine - a blend of Cantonese, Malay and Portuguese culinary influences, rich in diverse spices and flavours - which is staple fare among Malaccans. Your morning cooking class will teach you the traditional secrets behind these dishes, under the guidance of Chef Nancy, founder of the well-known Nancy’s Kitchen restaurant. Learn recipes that have been handed down through generations, as well as how to serve and garnish the dishes, and enjoy the fruits of your labours for lunch. Head back to your hotel with a full belly, and the rest of your day will be at leisure to wander through Malacca’s bustling streets.
Day 3
Drive to Kuala Lumpur, explore independently, ascend Petronas Towers

Set out for Malaysia’s buzzing capital, Kuala Lumpur, where your day will be at at leisure to explore its history and culture, until your early evening visit to the Petronas Twin Towers. Don't forget to bring your head for heights as you take the high-speed lift to the Observation Deck on level 86 and walk across the Skybridge that connects the two towers at level 41, a dizzying 557 feet above the ground. Enjoy panoramic city views before heading back to the ground
Day 4
‘Old & New’ city tour

Journey through Kuala Lumpur’s contrasting neighbourhoods, from historic streets to modern high-rises. Stop at one of the city’s oldest and largest wet markets in Chow Kit district, soaking up the sights and sounds of day-to-day local life. Continue to foodie hot-spot Kampung Baru, where 19th century timber houses are dwarfed by surrounding high-rise buildings in a protected heritage area, and try some of the best Nasi Lemak in the city. Stroll through Bangsar, a cosmopolitan area, dotted with cafes, restaurants and bars, as your guide explains about the area’s exciting urban regeneration. Having seen first-hand how traditional neighbourhoods co-exist alongside the modern, your final stop is at the Traders Hotel 33rd floor SkyBar, which boasts amazing views of the Petronas Twin Towers, to end the day enjoying a leisurely drink with spectacular cityscape views.
Day 5
Drive to Taman Negara via Batu Caves, rainforest night walk

Travel north to the ancient Batu Cave complex. Pass the enormous, gold statue of Hindu deity Murugan at the foot the limestone hill, and climb 272 steps up the outcrop to explore the sacred series of caverns and Hindu temples, and perhaps see a few cheeky macaques scampering over the rocks. Continue north to Kuala Tahan Jetty, the gateway to the Taman Negara National Park, to take a water taxi to the Mutiara Taman Negara Resort. In the evening, explore the rainforest at its best with a guided night walk into the nocturnal world that comes alive when the sun goes down.
Day 6
Rainforest canopy walk, riverboat trip

Wake up to the jungle dawn chorus and start the day with a trek to the top of Teresek Hill to enjoy the impressive sweeping views of Gunung Tahan, Peninsular Malaysia’s highest peak. Wander through the treetops on the longest canopy walk in the world - 160 feet high, and over 1,730 feet long - getting a birds eye view of the landscape below. Meander down the Tahan River by boat to the Lata Berkoh waterfall, and have a refreshing swim in the plunge pools at the feet of the cascading waters.
Day 7
Boat and car to East coast beach

Take a water taxi from Taman Negara National Park to Kuala Tahan Jetty where you will meet your driver and transfer to your east coast resort. Spend a few days relaxing, reviving and exploring at your own pace, making the most of those idyllic golden sands, before transferring to Kuala Terengganu Airport for your onward flight.
Day 8 & 9
At leisure on the beach

Enjoy a few days relaxing on the beach.
Day 10
Depart Kuala Terengganu

Your day will be at leisure until your transfer to Kuala Terengganu Airport for your onward flight.
