Visit the Ghibli Anime Museum

Mitaka is a nice Tokyo neighborhood around 20 minutes by rail from Shinjuku Station in the city center. The town is home to the Ghibli Museum, a hands-on museum dedicated to the animated universe of Studio Ghibli's films.

Company Ghibli is Japan's most prestigious animation company, responsible for blockbuster films including My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, and the current Japanese box office king, Spirited Away. Hayao Miyazaki, the studio's director and the "Walt Disney of Japan," is responsible for the studio's work.

The museum staff sells tickets every month on the 10th for the next month's admission. The museum gives visitors a specific time to enter because these tickets sell out quickly. We can pre-order them for you. However, owing to high demand, you should be flexible with the day and hour you need them.
