Getting to know Koh Chang
Koh Chang is a stunningly beautiful island located within the boundaries of the Koh Chang National Marine Park. Koh Cang is located just off of Thailand’s southeast coastline near neighbouring Cambodia, and can be reached via ferry. The island is famous for its diverse flora and fauna, and is wonderful paradise that consists mainly of dense rainforests, spectacular mountains and of course, beautiful beaches. Fortunately, the island receives fewer tourists than some of the more well-known attractions in the south, meaning that it is possible to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of some of Thailand’s larger vacation spots. A number of exciting adventure activities (including eco-tourism options) exist on the island, such as diving schools, cooking classes, fishing trips, and jungle trekking with elephants. Koh Chang is also popular for its seafood restaurants that are dotted around the island’s more spectacular beachside locations.
