Taste of Myanmar
Myanmar has a rich and diverse cuisine, including British influences, that includes teas, seafood, curries, wines and a whole host of other regional dishes. If you’re a lover of food and unique culinary experiences this will undoubtedly be the tour for you. Our itinerary begins in Yangon, which is an excellent starting point due to its eclectic range of foods on offer and a number of famous Burmese dishes that you can try in local eateries andrestaurants. From here, we’ll then head to Bagan and Inle Lake, which will offer amazing cultural and nature experiences respectively, as well as of course, more incredible food. We will also encounter ancient traditions and local tribespeople, such as the Inthar people who live on the lake. A highlight of the tour will undoubtedly be the opportunity to taste wine by the stunningly beautiful Inle Lake and an encounter with a local chef who will share with you the secrets that make Burmese cuisine one of the finest in Southeast Asia. Food lovers will undoubtedly be in heaven on this tour.
