Travel by bullet train to Hiroshima. Upon your arrival, visit the atomic bomb memorial monument and the Peace Museum, then explore the vibrant local food culture.

Experience the beauty of the Itsukushima Shrine gate, also known as Miyajima torii, which appears to float at high tide. Weather permitting, spend half the day kayaking toward the gate and around it.
