Embark on a day trip south of Dalat City to uncover one of the region’s hidden gems—Pinhatt Mountain. The journey begins with a scenic drive along beautiful country roads to the Pinhatt Mountain Trailhead, where your adventure officially kicks off.

Your local guide will lead you past ethnic minority farms and tall pine forests as you make your way to the foot of the mountain. After a short break, get ready for a 45-minute ascent to the summit of Pinhatt, where sweeping views of Tuyen Lam Lake and Dalat’s landscapes await.

For lunch, enjoy a picnic of fresh Dalat produce—crisp vegetables, seasonal fruit, baguettes, and local spreads—prepared by your guide. Dalat, often referred to as Vietnam’s “vegetable garden,” is famous for its rich agricultural products, and this is a great chance to taste it firsthand.

After relaxing at the summit, begin your descent into the valley, where the environment shifts dramatically. The cool pine forests slowly transition into the lush tropical rainforest. This short jungle segment offers both diverse wildlife and unique flora, so pack long socks to navigate safely.

Once at the bottom, you can rest at a lakeside campsite or take a dip in the clear waters while waiting for a boat transfer across Tuyen Lam Lake. The boat ride ends at the serene Truc Lam Meditation Pagoda and Gardens, a peaceful spot to unwind and reflect on your day.
