Kaziranga National Park, spanning approximately 430 square kilometers, is one of India’s most remote and unique wildlife sanctuaries. Known primarily for its population of one-horned rhinoceroses, the park features a diverse landscape that includes elephant grass, cane, forests, and swamps.
Wildlife in Kaziranga
Kaziranga is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Kaziranga boasts the highest tiger density in India, with a population of 121 tigers. However, the dense jungles make tiger sightings rare, adding to the allure of the park’s natural beauty.
