Myanmar: Weather & when to go: October
Rainfall in October steadily begins to subside. The country slowly moves out of its soggiest season and destinations begin to get busier with visitors. Being a mid-season month, this proves to be an ideal time to visit for many travellers. While temperatures still hover around the mid 20s to low 30s, they start decreasing towards the end of the month as the coolest part of the year is around the corner.
The central plains experience no change in their weather (remaining hot, around the low 30s, with minimal rainfall), however the southern and coastal regions begin to emerge from hibernation, opening up to beach goers once again. While some beach destinations may be opening, October marks a transitional period, repairing any damage left over from the monsoon rains.
