RV Paukan 1947
The RV Paukan 1947 was built in 1947 and perfectly exemplifies the colonial heritage of the area. It has become synonymous with luxury for many of the tourists visiting the area who want a traditional Ayeyarwady cruise.
The ship is comprised of two decks, which consist of historic, traditional designs with beautiful balconies and viewing areas. Each cabin has a large amount of space and personal bathroom facilities. You’ll find the blue textiles work well with the natural walls and brass fittings.
Not only are the suites luxurious, the communal areas are also extremely comfortable. You can sit outside on loungers and watch the beautiful scenery as you float by. There is an outside restaurant (which can be close if weather requires) that has a range of high-end food; including various Southeast Asian and Western cuisine. The staff on board will do all they can to make your trip as comfortable and enjoyable as possible – you can even get a massage on board!
